NIS Company presents NOR•MAL at the Wisconsin State PTA Conference in Green Bay, WI (April, 2008). We are sending 8 performers and NIS team members to present NOR•MAL as the feature entertainment for the PTA conference in Green Bay, WI.

Long-Term Projects:

1.  Fall Tour, 2008.  NIS seeks funding to bring their award-winning program to schools in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (including Milwaukee Public Schools), to Chicago, Illinois.

2.  Spring Tour, 2009.  NIS seeks funding to bring their award-winning program to Iowa as part of NEDAW and to Charlottesville, Virginia.

3.  Documentary film.  We are applying for grants to complete the editing of our documentary film: 50 hours of footage which covers the experience at Greendale High School and which contains interviews with cast members, medical professionals, people in recovery and their families.  This documentary is a curricular piece which will go out to schools across the nation. 

4.  Research Grants.  We are applying for research grant to enable researchers to run studies on the impact the NIS program has on teenagers, families and college communities.

Recent events:

In October, 2007 NIS presented NORMAL at NEDA's Annual Conference in San Diego. 

In November/December, 2007 NIS presented NORMAL in Milwaukee area schools

In February, 2008 NIS preseted NORMAL as part of NEDAW Programming at Marquette University, Wauwatosa East High School and UW-Whitewater.

On June 12, 2007, several cast members from Greendale High School performed excerpts from NOR•MAL in New York City as a way to raise awareness and funding for NIS, ASTEPand Melvincares.com.  Some photos are below.

On June 25, 2007, the original Greendale High School cast, musicians and crew members presented NOR•MAL at the prestigious
EDTA International Thespians Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Some photos are below.
